Our colleague Dr. Martin Tchamba has been awarded World Wildlife Fund's Africa and Madagascar Conservation Award for 2004. This award is made in recognition of his many contributions and achievements in Africa over the past three years. We are also pleased to report that Martin is recovering well from his recent incident with an elephant in Cameroon, and that he will be returning to his important work soon.
