The Mount Cameroon elephant team successfully collared a bull on 12 January 2012 in the Bush House area of Mount Cameroon. It was not the easiest collaring ever, but the team is pleased with the outcome. This collaring involved apparent equipment problems, some frightened trackers, a poacher hut, and a case of mistaken identity. Read Dr. Loomis's diary entry, Second Time is the Charm, for a full description of the collaring, and also read Dr. Loomis's journal entry on the same topic.
