Mexican Wolf Numbers Are Up

by Mark MacAllister
February 6, 2012

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) and other partners in the Mexican Wolf Reintroduction Project announced that the number of endangered Mexican wolves in the U.S. wild population increased to at least 58 wolves. There were only 50 wolves in the wild population at this time last year. To learn more, see the AZGFD update here.
