Field Trip Earth is working with field researchers around the world to bring you stories and pictures from a wide variety of wildlife conservation projects. Here are some of the field trips we plan to feature in the next few months:
- Researchers at the Foothills Model Forest Project in Hinton, Alberta, Canada are studying the grizzly bear and the impacts of human activity in its habitat.
- John Groves, Curator of Amphibians and Reptiles at the North Carolina Zoological Park, has been collecting hellbenders, one of the world's largest salamanders—and an important indicator of stream and river health.
